We Are Hiring Two New Positions!
Interested in joining the Interactivity Foundation Team as our new Director of Communications or our Senior Operations Manager? Apply by July 14th, 2025.
Dear friends,
Working with the Interactivity Foundation means being part of a mission-driven nonprofit dedicated to strengthening democracy through discussion. We advance exploratory and collaborative discussion in communities, classrooms, and workplaces. Our work is remote and highly flexible, ideal for independent self-starters who value autonomy and purpose. We invest in professional development, build connections, and welcome people who want to help shape what's next.
Please check out or share the two full time positions described below. For full consideration, please apply by July 14th, 2025.
#1: IF Director of Communications & Marketing
Position Overview
The Interactivity Foundation (IF) is seeking a dynamic and entrepreneurial Director of Communications & Marketing to lead and implement organization-wide strategies that strengthen our public presence and deepens engagement with our mission. This full-time, remote role is ideal for a strategic thinker and hands-on generalist who thrives in a mission-driven environment and is skilled across content creation, storytelling, digital engagement, marketing strategy, and public relations.
You will serve as both a thought partner and a tactical driver—someone who can move fluidly between big-picture strategy and day-to-day execution. You’ll shape and grow the communications function as a critical engine of impact: building campaigns, telling powerful stories, crafting digital experiences, and managing outreach that elevates IF’s role as a leader in collaborative discussion and civic engagement.
This is not a siloed role. You’ll collaborate across teams and with external partners to connect IF’s vision to diverse audiences—from educators and civic leaders to the broader public. If you’re a systems-minded communicator who thrives on both strategy and implementation, and you’re excited to work at the intersection of democracy, dialogue, and innovation, we’d love to hear from you. The position is responsible for driving operational excellence that supports IF’s mission and enables effective program and financial performance. Working closely with the governance team, this role ensures the organization meets its obligations efficiently and sustainably.
This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the operational future of a mission-driven organization that is at an exciting stage of growth and improvement. You’ll modernize core systems, support a collaborative culture, and enable innovative work that strengthens civic participation.
This role requires occasional travel to the office in Parkersburg, West Virginia. The Office Manager reports into this position. For the full description, please check out: iftalks.org/Jobs
